Didier Drogba is available on a "free" transfer this summer.
Below is a list of footballers in the Premier League who will be out of contract this summer, or who have already been released by their clubs. Chelsea especially have a number of high profile players whose contracts run out at the end of the 2011/12 season, and club legend Didier Drogba has already announced his intention to leave the club this summer at the age of 34. His last kick of a ball for the club being the winning penalty in the Champions League final. Other players with contracts expiring at the London club include Jose Bosingwa and Soloman Kalou.
Many players from the clubs relegated from the Premier League will be looking for jobs elsewhere, with the most promising of these players being Blackburn’s Canadian forward Junior Hoilett.
Clubs can view this time of year as a chance to clear out players who may not have a role at the club and are taking up valuable space on the wage bill, but for some younger players it is a worrying time, as they get their agents to work over time in order to find them a club and a future in the game.
There will be a few bargains to be had along the way. Who would you sign?

EXPERIENCE
I Abiodun Owolabi started my football career from my mothers’ womb and when i was 8yrs old i started playing soccer and entered my Primary Schools’ team playing as a midfielder.
When i entered my secondary School i played as a winger for both wings due to my ability to use my right and left legs. later on my family moved to another part of Lagos i n Nigeria called Magodo in which i had to change my School.
From International School lagos to Shadel high School, my changing of school was a blessing because the allowed my to explore and learn new things about my self and also improved my game. This led to i been chosen as the Games prefect due to my ability to perform excellently in all the sports.
In my new school, i was made the captain and led the team to many victory and a few losses. I played as a midfielder in my new school and score and average of two goals in every match.
After graduating from secondary school i got admission into the University of Lagos to study Business Administration. I play for my department as a winger 11 and 7 this was the choice of my coach, i am currently in my 200 level and we have won the departmental cup twice in a roll.
I was recruited by my departmental coach into his club which is Known as Green Hornets of Lagos which is on facebook and has the pictures of the day to day activities of the club and full information.
In conclusion
I need an opportunity to be alive and show the world that there are better players in existence.
Please sir help me with my dream and my future…..
I am currently playing for MFM F.C Team B in which I joined on the 11th of February playing as a winger.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Owolabi Abiodun
