Luka Modric wants to leave Tottenham, of that there is no doubt, but it seems the only thing the Spurs management are doing to keep him is just refusing any bids, and rejecting any requests from the player to leave. Many reports state Stewart Downing is the man they want, to swing in left footed crosses to Carroll, but Aston Villa seem to be holding out for more than they received for Ashley Young, which makes no sense!
